The Works is the holding company behind successful brands such as YoungCapital, YoungCapital NEXT, StudentJob, Jobbird.com and DASH. We’re there for everyone who is looking for work or needs people. Now, later, for a little while or the long haul. We do this by bringing together every corner of the labour market. Through recruitment, selection, temporary staffing, training, secondment and job boards. And have done so for the past 20 years. We offer thousands of jobs and have millions of profiles in our database of people looking for work. Right now, we’re active in 10 European countries and have more than 1,300 employees.

The Works wants to enable people to grow. All people. With 'Everybody Work', we’re increasing our social impact. By trying to increase opportunities for everyone, whatever their background. Among others, we assist young people with a chronic illness and people with a residence permit to find a job. But we also work with NLvoorElkaar to make voluntary work accessible to the young target group. Not only by supporting good causes, but especially local communities. Points for improvement? There are always a few. That's why our Diversity & Inclusion Community is constantly looking at what could be done better.

Environment

Reducing our footprint on the planet and being carbon neutral. That’s our ambition. It’s why our work process is almost 100 percent digital, our suppliers sustainable and our waste minimal. We make the greatest impact when it comes to mobility. For example, we facilitate sustainable and electric transport for employees and flex workers, encourage the use of public transport and are reducing our vehicle fleet. We also support EarthToday, a global initiative to protect and expand nature regions.

We believe that people are your most important asset. For them to perform at their best, they need to be happy, healthy and connected. We therefore invest in the vitality and well-being of the people around us. By giving our employees a sports budget, providing access to our own gym and hosting mindset training courses. Flex workers can count on an online learning platform with more than 200 e-learnings. In order to know what’s needed, we do extensive research. Several times a year.
